Our DVSA authorised testing facility (ATF) for both HGV’s and Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCVs) opened at our site in Bawtry back in 2012. We have two fully operational test lanes and offer a full preparation, test & rectification service. We can also check your vehicles prior to an MOT with a view to repairing any issues that may prevent your vehicle from passing an MOT.
We offer preparation, test & rectification service for:
- LGV/HGV Trailers
- PCVs can be booked and presented for MOT
Annual Testing is a legal requirement to ensure safety and compliance for both HGVs and PCVs. The annual test ensures that your vehicle is roadworthy and that it complies with legal standards.
ATF for HGV and PCV
Key elements of ATF for HGV include:
- Brake Testing to ensure that your brakes are in optimal condition.
- Emissions Testing
- Structural Integrity – which includes chassis and bodywork check for signs of corrosion or fatigue.
- Safety Equipment including seat belts, lights, indicators, and mirrors.
Key elements of ATF for PCVs include:
- Passenger Safety including seat belts, emergency exits, handrails and wheelchair access.
- Vehicle Stability testing that the vehicle is stable and controllable even when fully loaded with passengers.
- Exhaust Emissions
- Accessibility compliance
Our testing centre reception is open Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 7am to 11am.
