An Extendable Trailer is versatile and suitable for a variety of long loads. ‘Extenders’ as they are sometime known can be single, double, or even triple extending. A basic single extending flat trailer can go from 13.6m to 21m. A double extending step frame semi low loader can go from 9.1m (in the bed/lower deck) to 22m when fully extended. A triple extending flat/platform can extend from 13.2m to a staggering 36M & a 4 axle goes to a 44M.
We have a variety of extenders on our fleet from manufacturers including Broshuis, Montracon, Dennison, and SDC.
The extendable features of these trailers make them a practical solution for hauling long and irregular shaped items including bridge beams, wind turbines and industrial machinery.

Extendable trailers for hire
We have been hiring specialist trailers since 1970 and our large modern fleet of over 1000 trailers is always up to date with the very latest steering and extending technology. Over 200 of our fleet are low loader trailers. Trailers can be rented long or medium term or on spot hire for just one day if required.

Our trailers often come with advanced features such as multiple steering axles, hydraulic double flip ramps, wafer decks, override steering, detachable necks, or SL technology. If you have a trailer you're looking to upgrade or exchange, we may be able to offer part-exchange options.
Service & Maintenance
For over 50 years, we have been providing comprehensive service and testing for Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) and Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV) in our fully equipped, modern workshop. Our on-site testing center is also available for your convenience. In addition, we offer repair services, spare parts, and refurbishments for commercial vehicles, trucks, trailers, and buses at our yard located at Bawtry.
Specialist Low Loader Trailer Hire & Sales
We buy, sell, and rent extendable and non-extending flat, low loader, step frame and urban trailers plus plant, machinery, tractor, wing, and truss carriers. The majority of the 1000 plus modern trailers on our fleet are made by Broshuis, Dennison, Montracon, and SDC. We also offer repairs, re-furbishment, HGV / LGV / PCV testing, spares, service, test preparation, tachograph calibration and brake analysis. These services are suitable for most trucks, trailers, buses, tractor units, lorries, and PSVs.
